Step 1- Sometimes, colors that other participants choose to use in the Public Chat area of the web conference room are extremely hard to read. Anyone can change that on your own computer. In order to enable the ability to change the text color of All Users in the Public Chat area:
- Click on the Options tab of the menu bar
- In the drop down box that appears, click on Text Chat
- In the flyout box, click on Text Color Override
- In the next flyout box, click on Enable
- A check mark will appear in front of "Enable"
|
|
|
Step 2- To choose another color, go through the same steps:
- Click on the Options tab of the menu bar
- In the drop down box that appears, click on Text Chat
- In the flyout box, click on Text Color Override
- In the next flyout box, you will notice that Enable has a check mark
- This time, click on Choose override color
- A pop-up box will appear with a color palette as you see below
|
|
|
Step 3- Choose the desired color from the color palette, then click on OK. This color will now be the color of all text written by all participants in the Public Chat area in the web conference room. This is evident on your computer screen only.
Please note: Choose a darker text color in order to read the text easily.
|
|
Step 4- Choosing a Custom Color from the Rainbow portion of the color palette:
- Move the crosshairs within the rainbow to find the desired color hue
- Move the arrow up and down the slider to choose darkness of the shade
- Once a shade is decided upon, click on Add to Custom colors which stores the color under Custom colors to the left of the palette.
- Click on OK and it is immediately set as the Text Color in the Public Chat.
- This is visible only to you. Each person in the web conference room can set their own colors.
