Step 1 - From the On-Demand Admin tab of the Menu bar, you will be able to purchase "units" for your web conference room and view how many you have left.
1) Room Title: This is the room title set up by the room owner at time of purchase.
2) Room Owner: This is actually the username (or Qname) of the room owner.
3) Current Units Available: Here, you are able to monitor the number of units you have left. Prior to inviting any large groups into your web conference room, you should check this number to make sure you have enough seats to hold your group.
4) Current Room Capacity: On-Demand web conferencing allows you to increase or decrease the size of your room (also called scaleable) when you want. It's all done right here.
- If you set this number to zero, no one will be allowed in the room, including the room owner.
- When you are not using the room for meetings or webinars, leave this number set to 3, if you don't want to be charged for people just showing up in your room.
- Once the room is filled to "current room capacity," the next person who tries to login will receive a message that the Room Is Full.
- When holding larger events, make sure to change this number prior to holding the events. After the event, resize it back down to 3 or desired room size.
- For those using your room as a Virtual Office, you might want to leave this number set at 5-10 so that visitors can easily login during your "open" hours.
5) Update: After making changes in this area, make sure to click on Update.

Step 2 - When purchasing more units, select the desired dollar amount from the drop down box, and the corresponding number of units appear to the right.
Not sure how many units you will need?
Go to the calculator at the bottom of the page. Examples are given here in Steps 6 & 7.
|
|
|
Step 3- This chart indicates how many units you receive for the various incremental packages.
|
|
|
Step 4- This diagram shows that the room owner is purchasing $200 worth of units, equaling 4,000 units (or seat hours). This would amount to 5 cents per seat hour. Therefore, if 100 people sat in their seats for a full hour, that meeting cost the room owner only $5. Take advantage of this incredible savings!

|
Step 5- When ready to purchase, come here.
1) Terms & Conditions: Read through these items. Note that unit purchases are non-refundable. All units remain in your account and transfer forward month-to-month. Units are used when more than 3 users occupy seats at one time.
2) I Agree: Click in the box to indicate that you agree to the Terms & Conditions above.
3) MasterCard or Visa: Click on the Credit Card Icons to be taken to our Merchant account where you can pay using a MasterCard or Visa debit or credit card.
4) PayPal: Click on the PayPal icon if you have a PayPal account and choose use it.
Please Note: When processed, your charge will appear as being paid to Ebizworks LLC, not ScyberMeetings.

Step 6- Above you see the handy calculator we've provided for you. In this example, the room owner is expecting the following:
- 30 people to attend a meeting for 1 hour, 2 times/week (or 8 times per month)
- 10 committee members to attend a 2 hour meeting, 1 times/month
- 100 people to attend a special training held for 1 hour every other Saturday (twice per month)
- Total units needed is 460 - Room owner would purchase 625 units, balance would be carried over to the next month.
- Cost of units would be $50, or 8 cents per unit. Actual Cost of units used that month is only $36.80.
- Room owner may elect to purchase 4,000 units at one time reducing the cost per unit to 5 cents each.
- Comparable competitors monthly cost is $250 -$873.75 for 100-seat room. Room owner would pay for 100-seat room for entire month not just for time used.
Please note that the 1st 3 people are part of the monthly fee of $20 and are not using up units.
|
|
|
Step 7- Let's project the usage of another room owner.
- 18 people to attend a daily planning session for 1 hour, each weekday (20 times per month)
- 32 prospects to attend a 1 hour webinar, 3 times/week (12 times per month)
- 97 people to attend a special training held for 1 hour every other Saturday (twice per month)
- Total units needed is 938 - Room owner would purchase 1000 units, balance would be carried over to the next month.
- Cost of units would be $75, or 7.5 cents per unit. Actual Cost of units used that month is only $70.35.
