Step 1- Left click on the name of the speaker that you wish to clear or interrupt. If there are other speakers lined up (or in queue) to speak, follow directions below to "Clear All Speakers." A dotted lined box will appear around the person's name.
Step 2- The first method is through the Menu Bar.
- From the Menu Bar, click on Administration
- Click on Clear Speaker
- You, as a moderator, will be allowed to talk
- Participants do not have this ability
Step 3- When trying to clear a speaker without first selecting a name, the above error message will appear.
Step 4- The 2nd method to clear a speaker is below the Public Chat area, above the Volume Controls.
- Right click on the name of the speaker you wish to interrupt.
- Again, this feature is only available to moderators, not participants.
Step 5- After right clicking on a name, this drop down box appears.
- Click on Clear Speaker
- You will be queued up to speak, unless other speakers were in line ahead of you.
Step 6- When there is more than one speaker "in queue," you don't need to select a speaker first.
- From the Menu Bar, Click on Administration
- Click on Clear All Speakers
- You will now have the floor to speak
Step 7- You may also Clear All Speakers this way.
- Right click anywhere in the listing of Moderators and Participants.
- In the drop down box, click on Clear All Speakers.
