Step 1- From the menu bar, click on Options.
- In the first drop down box, click on Text Chat
- In the second drop down box, click on change Background Color
- The color palette as see below will appear.

Step 2- Choose the desired color from the color palette, then click on OK. This color will now show up in the background of the Public Chat area on your computer.
Please note: Choose a lighter background color in order to read the text easily.

Step 3- Choosing a Custom Color from the Rainbow portion of the color palette:
- Move the crosshairs within the rainbow to find the desired color hue
- Move the arrow up and down the slider to choose lightness of the shade
- Once a shade is decided upon, click on Add to Custom colors which stores the color under Custom colors to the left of the palette.
- Click on OK and it is immediately moved into the background of the Public Chat.
- This is visible only to you. Each person in the web conference room can set their own colors.
